WIT's Training Program has helped a lot of improvisers unlock and develop their talents. Dozens of folks have studied through all levels of WIT's core curriculum, have fallen in love with long-form improv, and crave the opportunity to perform it. Now there's a new opportunity for those improvisers: Harold Teams.
Harold Teams are designed to take experienced students, alums, and players deeper into their exploration of long-form improv, through focusing on the Harold--the bread-and-butter structure of the craft. Playing on a Team will give players the ensemble experience of regular rehearsal and performance, with a coach dedicated to developing their performance talents. Team rehearsals will commence shortly. Team performances - which will be part of a regular, on-going program called Harold Night - are targeted to begin in May.
For now WIT has formed two new Harold Teams from auditions conducted in March. Congrats and welcome to the following players:
Team 1: Alan Meyers, Allegra Baider, Mike Colucciello, Sarah Donnelly, Drew Gulino, Stephanie Svec, Edwin Kubal, and Eric Rubin. Coach: Greg Tindale
Team 2: Curtis Raye, Lisa Austin, Justus Hammond, Jamie Bingner, Matthew Winterhalter, Chantal Martineau, Alex Remington, and Jamie Lantinen. Coach: Tara Maher
Once the Harold Team and Harold Night programs are up on their feet we hope to conduct auditions for new Harold Teams on a regular basis a few times per year.
Watch the WIT calendar for details as they develop!
