WIT SHOWS | Biscuitville

There is a restaurant in the American south where you can order anything you want and have it served on a hearty, golden biscuit.

For breakfast or lunch. Anything you want. Served on a hearty, golden biscuit.

At the 2003 Dirty South Improv festival, three members of Washington Improv Theater's Mainstage troupe tried to visit this culinary cathedral and failed. But they were so enamored by the simple genius of the place that it inevitably, inextricably found its way in to the recipe for their three-person shows.

Their performance that year at the Dirty South won rave reviews. They have served up their brand of fresh, oven-baked longform improv to hungry crowds in DC, Chicago, North Carolina and New York. And just like the fabled restaurant that shares their name, they have sworn to deliver to their patrons one simple promise:

Anything you want. Served on a hearty, golden biscuit.
